Hi Stewart You can do separate VuFind loads for each institution and group of locations. In our test instance we loaded each Voyager 'circulation group' as a separate load with different 'Institution' and 'Library' set in marc load properties. This lets the system create facets for institutions and library. While this doesn't create a facet for each separate Voyager location it does seem to work at this point, but it does complicate the process for updating records from Voyager. Subject: [VuFind-General] Location data (buildings) I have set up rc2 on a test machine to demonstrate VuFind locally. I am hoping that we can sell this as a concept and gain enough interest to gain approval for its implementation. To succeed I need to show that it can match/exceed the functionality of our Voyager catalogue. One of the things that didn't work for me out of the box was Institution and Location facets. The documentation seems to suggest that if this data is not on the _bibliographic_ record then it cannot be indexed. Is this correct? In our implementation, Voyager, this information is held in a holdings (MFHD) record instead. Does anyone have any insights into how I can populate VuFind with this information?
