Dear all, I know this has come up a few times before, but I wondered how sites are managing record deletions? Those of us in the IT section have been surprised to discover that our library deletes relatively large numbers of records every week - too many to delete those records individually via solr. Deleting the index and reindexing the entire database from scratch completely seems to be the only way to ensure the system is up to date - but that can take upwards of two hours of downtime, which is unacceptable. Is anyone else in the same situation, and how do you get round it? Thanks, Michael.
