Greg, Picking up on your last para. We've seen occasional records where clicking on the /Record view resulted in an error message (below). It doesn't seem to be related to anything in the record itself, and if we reimport the individual record it works fine. Is this the same problem you were having with individual records? We can also view the record directly in Solr. We're on solrmarc 2, but using solr 1.3 - solr 1.4 is a developer's release and not yet stable, so am curious how you're finding that. Michael. Subject: Re: [VuFind-General] VuFind Users Hi Luke, for us: 1) is pretty much out-of-the-box right now (adding in the patch I just mentioned). Our staff are keenly awaiting the list feature coming down the pipeline, but integration is fully functioning. 2) We have a database trigger watching the bibliographic_records table inside Virtua, so we could (in theory) have bib updates with less then a few minutes lag time once you account for the scripted extraction, copy and index. The stumbling block for us was solr 1.3/solrmarc 1 (not sure which was the culprit) persistently refusing to index individual records. We've now upgraded both solr and solrmarc (v1.4 / v2) and the problem is gone. That solution should be live soon, we're just waiting on more testing on our test server for the new solr build's stability. Subject: [VuFind-General] VuFind Users Dear All, I am currently working on a roadmap for our implementation of VuFind and I was hoping to get some feedback on the processes current installations have been / are going through. Can anyone give me a brief synopsis of their experiences with: 1) Developing the user log on and integrating the "My Account" with their LMS / ILS 2) Developing processes to update the bibliographic and user information and keep them clean Kind Regards, Luke ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
