Wow, that was quick, thanks a lot. This indeed brought me one step ahead, but I still see errors: *Warning*: DOMDocument::loadXML() [function.DOMDocument-loadXML <http://localhost/vufind/Search/function.DOMDocument-loadXML>]: Space required after the Public Identifier in Entity, line: 1 in */usr/local/vufind/web.mod/sys/SOLR.php* on line *446* *Warning*: DOMDocument::loadXML() [function.DOMDocument-loadXML <http://localhost/vufind/Search/function.DOMDocument-loadXML>]: SystemLiteral " or ' expected in Entity, line: 1 in */usr/local/vufind/web.mod/sys/SOLR.php* on line *446 and so on. Something wrong with the response from Solr maybe? Line 446 has this: $xml->loadXML($result); Christian * Chris Delis wrote: > On Fri, Feb 29, 2008 at 09:45:08AM +0900, Christian Wittern wrote: > >> Dear list members, >> >> Just installed vufind a few days ago and am trying to get up to speed. >> Everything works pretty nicely, but I found that whenever I am >> clicking on Advanced Search, I get an error page saying: >> >> Fatal error: Call to undefined method SOLR::query() in >> /usr/local/vufind/web.mod/services/Search/Advanced.php on line 35 >> > > > This is from memory, but, you may want to try changing "query" to > "search" on line 35 in Advanced.php. > > I think the developers did some refactoring of the SOLR object and > forgot to carry over the new function name? > > --Chris > > > >> Now I have now idea what is going on and where the problem is.
