I'm running Mac OS X 10.4.2 with all updates applied, dev tools, and the very latest Fink distribution with both Python24 and Python23 installed. I'm trying to build VPython from the sourceforge package by running the mkdist_osx.sh script, which worked perfectly under 10.3.x. The custom version of gcc builds fine but something happens during the visual build, as indicated below: checking for unistd.h... yes checking dlfcn.h usability... yes checking dlfcn.h presence... yes checking for dlfcn.h... yes checking how to run the C++ preprocessor... /lib/cpp configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check See `config.log' for more details. make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Otherwise, I'm stumped. This all worked under 10.3. Joe Heafner heafnerj(at)ctc(dot)net |
