User Reviews

  • This framework provides phenomenal high performance functionality for VR applications. It is compatible with many different VR-Technologies and supports input devices from keyboard to 3D mouse and more. It even comes with its own XML-Reader (Tiny-XML), supports networking with ZeroMQ and the best part: It is platform independent. Sadly it is documented very poorly, which I did not expect of a framework developed by a technical university. So working with it is tedious. I am currently trying to build VistaFlowLib applications and I lose too much time on reading code, because it is not documented. Even though I understand how most of the framework works after a few weeks, I have the feeling that I cannot use it to its full potential. Disclaimer: A framework can have phenomenal functionality, but it is worthless when nobody knows how to use it properly.
