Hi Hugh. I tried building the latest debian packages from branch develop/7 with latest changes up to today, 23rd of November. The build steps are based on this post accepted answer: http://serverfault.com/questions/631673/virtuoso-opensource-7-1-how-do-i-build-an-ubuntu-deb-package-from-github-sourc But the last build step " fakeroot debian/rules clean binary", fails with the following error: .... Making install in xddl make[3]: Entering directory `/tmp/build/virtuoso-opensource/binsrc/xddl' make[4]: Entering directory `/tmp/build/virtuoso-opensource/binsrc/xddl' make[4]: Nothing to be done for `install-exec-am'. make[4]: Nothing to be done for `install-data-am'. make[4]: Leaving directory `/tmp/build/virtuoso-opensource/binsrc/xddl' make[3]: Leaving directory `/tmp/build/virtuoso-opensource/binsrc/xddl' Making install in VirtuosoClient.Net make[3]: Entering directory `/tmp/build/virtuoso-opensource/binsrc/VirtuosoClient.Net' make[4]: Entering directory `/tmp/build/virtuoso-opensource/binsrc/VirtuosoClient.Net' /bin/mkdir -p "/tmp/build/virtuoso-opensource/debian/tmp//usr/lib" /usr/bin/install -c OpenLink.Data.Virtuoso.dll "/tmp/build/virtuoso-opensource/debian/tmp//usr/lib" /usr/bin/install: cannot stat ‘OpenLink.Data.Virtuoso.dll’: No such file or directory make[4]: *** [install-exec-local] Error 1 make[4]: Leaving directory `/tmp/build/virtuoso-opensource/binsrc/VirtuosoClient.Net' make[3]: *** [install-am] Error 2 make[3]: Leaving directory `/tmp/build/virtuoso-opensource/binsrc/VirtuosoClient.Net' make[2]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/build/virtuoso-opensource/binsrc' make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/build/virtuoso-opensource' make: *** [debian/stamp-makefile-install] Error 2 Building debian packages from stable/7 branch was successful. Could you give some reference to when you are planning to make another newer stable release as I see develop/7 has already a lot of additional improvements? Best wishes.
