Release 2.35.1 is currently scheduled for end of August 2002.
Changes may include:
- moving the default port for the visdaemon from 5000
- additional checks for winsock library version
- enhancements in tcp code

Preparing for Release 2.35

The first official VIS release at Sourceforge will be called 2.35.
VIS was already earlier delivered with the Varial application and will adopt that release numbering.

First code contributions online

The first code contributions are now in the CVS repository.
They consist of the source of
- the VIS client library
- the VIS daemon
- the VIS server (without the ACU libraries)
- the Wrapper classes for accesing the VIS client library with C++
