Hi, I work on Necessitas Qt Creator for Android, and as Qt Creator mainline supports Valgrind integration, I though I'd have a go at getting it to work for our Android port. I'm trying to do this on Mac OS X 10.7. I followed the instructions in README.android but configure failed. We use our own version of the NDK (newer gdb with python, newer gcc, newer binutils, but compatible with Google's): http://mingw-and-ndk.googlecode.com/files/android-ndk-r6b-gdb-7.3.50.20110709-darwin-x86.7z I've attached the config.log, some of the issues from the console are: checking for gdb... /Developer-3.2.5/usr/bin/gdb [should be /usr/ndki/android-ndk-r6b/toolchains/arm-linux-androideabi-4.6.2/prebuilt/darwin-x86/bin/arm-linux-androideabi-gdb ?] checking for the kernel version... unsupported (11.2.0) configure: error: Valgrind works on kernels 2.4, 2.6 So it's picked up the Darwin kernel version number. For Android, this check cannot be performed I guess? Is it not possible to build this on Mac OS X? Ideally, I'd like to be able to build it on OS X, MinGW and Linux as I build everything else in my NDK release on each of these build machines. Cheers, Ray Donnelly. |
