Yo! When I first bought my Voodoo3 3500 TV, I felt a little disappointed with the fact, that the PAL version doesn't have a FM tuner. Not any more! I finally got around to try the drivers. They loaded fine, and I started up KWinTV to test if I would get a picture. No picture, only stripes :-( I don't know what's wrong, could be KWinTV does something the driver doesn't expect yet??? Now comes the interesting part: Since it's possible to set arbitrary tuner frequencies in KWinTV, I just _had_ to try to set somewhere in the FM radio range...and right now I'm listening to a local FM radio station called "Radio Nova" with my Voodoo card _without_ any FM tuner! Pretty strange, huh! The frequencies are all off by 10-15 MHz, and I can't find all the FM stations that should be available, so somewhere there's a couple of bits lost. And the sound comes out in mono, of course (no NICAM there) and I need to crank up the volume, but the reception is actually better than my 20-year-old FM-receiver! Can anyone else confirm this, or is my card just acting weird? If this works on all PAL-versions then I could look into the possibility of writing a FM-tuner application for the PAL version. I wonder what 3Dfx has to say about this :-) ----- eMail: ra...@av... Home: +358-9-87750100 rap...@cc... Work: +358-9-4514777 Jor...@hu...
