Hello everyone, This time, I'm trying to do "insmod hello.o" (a kernel module which simpl= y=20 prints out "hello world" using printk), but: # insmod ./hello.o kernel_version needed, but can't be found What's wrong here? In the normal linux it runs correctly bu I had to cop= y=20 /boot/vmlinuz.version.h to /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build/include/linux. = I'm=20 sure this is related somehow but: * I don't have uname in the root_fs of my UML box * /lib/modules does not have some sort of "uname -r" directory anyway. This is also probably a silly question but I do have to start somewhere..= . :-) --=20 Alexandros Karypidis =C1=EB=DD=EE=E1=ED=E4=F1=EF=F2 =CA=E1=F1=F5=F0=DF=E4= =E7=F2 University of Thessaly =D0=E1=ED=E5=F0=E9=F3=F4=DE=EC=E9=EF =C8=E5=F3=F3= =E1=EB=DF=E1=F2 Computer Engineering & =D4=EC=DE=EC=E1 =EC=E7=F7=E1=ED=E9=EA=FE=ED =C7/= =D5, Telecommunications Dept. =F4=E7=EB=E5=F0=E9=EA=EF=E9=ED=F9=ED=E9=FE=ED &= =E4=E9=EA=F4=FD=F9=ED |
