[uml-user] unable to allocate pty/tty pair

Hi,

I am new to User Mode Linux

I downloaded
1.     user_mode_linux-2.4.10.3um-0.i386.rpm
2.     root_fs_tomrtbt_1.7.205.bz2

I am running Red Hat 7.1

I ran uml with -- linux ubd0=./root_fs_tomrtbt_1.7.205

however it down not allow me to login saying:

 console tomsrtbt login: root

 The default "root" password is "xxxx",
 edit /etc/passwd to change it, or edit
 settings.s to change it permanently...
