Hi all, included are three scripts I wrote to automatically produce Red Hat 7 root filesystems. The driver is called mkrootfs.sh, and it takes three arguments: The name of the image file, the size of the image file, and the type of root filesystem. There are currently two root filesystem types: 'hack' and 'router'. There's a lot of hardcoding all over the place (it is assumed that the Red Hat 7 cd path is /mnt/cdrom, that the Red Hat 7 updates are in /data/upd, that the uml kernel tree is under `pwd`/linux-2.4.0-test12, the root password is set to 'root', the timezone is MET, etc etc); this was never meant to be clean. cheers, Lennert |
