Hy...! What kind of configuration need on the remote server to run UML if i have only SSH access. And if i would like to use the SKAS facilities, has the kernel of host machine SMP support? The kernel release of host machine is 2.4.27. There is a server directly on the internet, with more public services. I"d like to run UML, in it I"d like to develop. I can"t change on this scenario. Thats why, i"d like to increase the security of the server (not definitely with GrSec, but it seems be the perfect), and it would be better if the UML run better security and effective. Another question is that, if the host will reboot, the UML would suspend or hibernate, and then continue the work where i finished. It would be profitable in big projects, if the host system has to reboot pending the development. Is there a solution to make the host system not to stop before the UML accomplish its work regulary? Swsusp? And, finally, what are the poit of view when making UML for production environment?
