I used to know the answer to this so I apologize to the list. I get the following when booting the above fs: /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit: line 57: /dev/tty0:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty: No such file or directory /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit: line 57: /dev/ttyttys/0: No such file or directory /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit: line 57: /dev/tty1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty: No such file or directory /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit: line 57: /dev/ttyttys/1: No such file or directory /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit: line 57: /dev/tty2:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty: No such file or directory /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit: line 57: /dev/ttyttys/2: No such file or directory /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit: line 60: [: ttys/2: integer expression expected and then predictably: INIT: Id "1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes INIT: Id "2" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes INIT: Id "c" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes INIT: Id "0" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes INIT: no more processes left in this runlevel which type of device is this fs expecting. Is it the tty channel support? Do I need to set the default console or default serial line, too? Here's what my config looks like: [ ] Virtual serial line [ ] null channel support [ ] port channel support [ ] pty channel support [ ] tty channel support [ ] xterm channel support (fd:0,fd:1) Default main console channel initialization (xterm) Default console channel initialization (pty) Default serial line channel initialization [*] Unix98 PTY support [*] Legacy (BSD) PTY support (256) Maximum number of legacy PTY in use [*] Watchdog Timer Support [ ] Disable watchdog shutdown on close < > Software Watchdog < > UML watchdog < > Sound support |
