That might be because you have not given it one, or because it can't understand what you've given it. Maybe a typo? I suppose the first thing to check is that you can mount the root file system on the host system and access it. Also check permissions of file containg the root fs to be sure it can be read by UML. Also verify the UML command startup string. It should be something like: linux ubd0=<file-containg-root-fs> root=/dev/ubd0 .... Dick |
