Hi BlaisorBlade + list, I've ran a complete install of a Gentoo system from within a UML. This proves some degree of stability (since gentoo is source based it is heavy to install). Another host runs stable as well, though I haven't tested that one heavily. Thanks for the _great_ patching! You could create your own announce list (I'd subscribe, for sure ;) -- Kind regards, Met vriendelijke groeten, Erik de Bruijn BudgetDedicated - UML Hosting in Europe www.BudgetDedicated.nl | Tel. +31 492 430559 | Fax. +31 492 663870 | Mob. +31 6 21856715 | Adres: Haagwinde 16 | Zipcode NL-5731 WD Mierlo On Fri, 18 Jun 2004 13:48:58 +0200 BlaisorBlade <bla...@ya...> wrote: > I'm going to upload it ASAP onto my page: > > http://www.user-mode-linux.org/~blaisorblade. > > I just took 2.6.6-1um (from Jeff Dike, not my older forward ports) and fixed > some rejects (plus I checked the API changes done to arch/um and > include/asm-um and extended them: the only one was this: > > - atomic_set(&page->count, 1); > + set_page_count(page, 1); > > which I applied to other users in the UML patch). > > It's ready (I've compiled and tested it).
