From my understanding, UML does not support SMP currently. On the UML Session that is... the host is fine. Which are you doing? From the sounds of it, you tested with the UML patch AND the skas patch... those two are mutually exclusive. SKAS patch is for the host kernel, the UML patch is for the source that is going to make the UML Session kernel. --Dan Franck wrote: >-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- >Hash: SHA1 > >Hello, > >i've some problems with SMP on UML. >I'm trying to compile vanilla kernel with ULM's SMP support but ALWAYS >errors :( > >tested with : >2.4.26 + 2.6.6 with uml patch and/or skas patch >Always crash :( > >Are you an idea please ? > >Regards >- -- >Franck > >http://www.linuxpourtous.com >-----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- >Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) > >iD8DBQFAvvRG1zwfep5k9qERApSgAJwIc1/IOInan1ZCzptkCNX0fZWOIgCeMNkn >7XWq5cDLXRMhNcMiCMNOfcE= >=Bx6/ >-----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > > > >------------------------------------------------------- >This SF.Net email is sponsored by the new InstallShield X. >>From Windows to Linux, servers to mobile, InstallShield X is the one >installation-authoring solution that does it all.
