Hi, the initrd should be published via the tftp server. Your isolinux configuration is not correct. It should look like this: label linux kernel /linux/ua_0.1.kernel append initrd=/linux/ua_0.1.root So the file ua_0.1.root should be in the same directory like the kernel. greetings mario Am Donnerstag, den 12.04.2007, 11:50 +0100 schrieb Will Sheldon: > Hi, > > I made some corrections to the wiki, I hope they are ok. > > I'm having a problem with pxe booting the image, the kernel loads ok, > then when it tries to grab the root fs i get: > > drivers/rtc/hctosys.c: unable to open rtc device > > then all the RPC calls return 101 errors & it requests a floppy with > the root fs... > > What does your /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default file look like? > this is mine: > > default linux > timeout 100 > prompt 1 > display msgs/boot.msg > F1 msgs/boot.msg > F2 msgs/additional.msg > F3 msgs/information.msg > > label local > localboot 0 > > label linux > kernel linux/ua_0.1.kernel > append root=/dev/nfs nfsroot=10.10.0.151:/nfsexport/ua_0.1.root > > is it right? > > Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. > > Will. |
