Hi, the z_user and z_pass belongs to the windows/samba share. You have to define it by yourself. For example you can do it with samba: apt-get install samba /etc/samba/smb.conf [global] workgroup = YOURDOMAIN server string = %h server map to guest = Bad User obey pam restrictions = Yes pam password change = Yes passwd program = /usr/bin/passwd %u passwd chat = *Enter\snew\s*\spassword:* %n\n *Retype\snew\s*\spassword:* %n\n *password\supdated\ssuccessfully* . unix password sync = Yes syslog = 0 log file = /var/log/samba/log.%m max log size = 1000 dns proxy = No usershare allow guests = Yes panic action = /usr/share/samba/panic-action %d idmap config * : backend = tdb [install] comment = Uranos Install path = /var/www/uranos/z/ readonly = no browsable = yes You can add a user by: smbpasswd -a USERNAME (the z_user) -> after that you will be asked for a password After that you should be able to mount the share on a windows client from the server: net use z: \\192.168.232.5\install Hope this helps...
