Hi, First of all, I'm not very familiar with DRI/DRM. I only want to get XvMC working. So, I might have missed some documentation somewhere. Anyways, I can't seem to get DRI running. I followed all the instructions at the DRI wiki for downloading, building, and installing. However, on startup, I get the following lines in my xorg log: (II) VIA(0): [drm] drmSetBusid failed (8, PCI:1:0:0), Device or resource busy (EE) VIA(0): [dri] DRIScreenInit failed. Disabling DRI. So, the obvious question is: has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it? Also, a related question, how can I find out what version of DRM I have? I just used their CVS instructions, so I'm not really sure what version I'm running. Is there a log to check, or somewhere else to look? My setup: Epia MII-10,000 Fedora Core 2 - kernel 2.6.8-1.521 CVS versions of DRI and Unichrome Any help would be greatly appreciated! Micah |
