Hi Richard, adding new drivers would be possible but they should be compiled against the used kernel. Run 'uname -a' in a shell once you've booted unattended to get the kernel version. Could you be more specific on what drivers are needed regarding the DELL servers? It would be nice if the unattended devvers could give some walktrough regarding the whole process of rebuilding the initial linux env. (you could check what's in CVS, there must be something usefull in there) - Harm On Thu, 2009-01-08 at 13:29 +0000, Richard Bowden wrote: > Hi Guys, > > I am wondering if anyone has any tips or found a walk through on how to > add drivers (network) to the initrd file, i have managed to get the file > extracted but not sure where\how to add the drivers. > > the drivers i wish to add are for new Dell PE2950's and R200's. > > also does anyone know what version of Linux does unattended use ? > > Cheers in advanced, Richard > > -- > > This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended > solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed. > If you have received this email in error please notify the sender.
