How does one tell if color smoothing is being applied?
When I click the smoothing button, I often cannot tell a difference in the image unless it is at 100% magnification,
which is fine; but the graphic on the button is always the same - the handle on the brush in the upper left, and the bristles of the brush on the lower right (a horizontal 180 degree rotation and slightly different graphic of the image in the user's guide) Is the graphic supposed to change to indicate whether the option is on or off?

You are right. The current icon does not change when color smoothing is turned on and off.
