The UFRaw (Unidentified Flying Raw) is a tool for reading and manipulating raw images from digital cameras. It supports most of the existing raw formats (any format supported by DCRaw). UFRaw can be used on its own or as a Gimp plug-in.

This software lets to control the picture somehow more than the software that comes with a DSLR. Great if you know what you want to get after a raw conversion. But got to learn it before getting the best results though.

dlRaw manipulates raw images from digital cameras. Besides dcraw functions, it does exposure correction, curve application in RGB/CIELAB space and USM or Refocus sharpening. Includes lensfun for lens corrections and greycstoration for noise reduction.

Streamripper
Streamripper records shoutcast-compatible streams. For shoutcast style streams it finds the "meta data" or track separation data, and uses that as a marker for where the track should be separated.
