Category: Video and graphics code Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Billy Biggs (vektor) Summary: Not working on Novells Xgl Initial Comment: tvtime is not working on Novells Xgl, as you can't tell the application not to use overlay or xv. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-06-05 09:19 Message: Logged In: NO I use "DISPLAY=:93 tvtime" - xgl is actually nested on a normal x server, which by default is on display :93. If you run tvtime on that display, it will be drawn in 2D above the xgl window. This is fine for full screen tv, but you can also run a window manager on display :93. You have to tell it not to draw a border on the xgl window, and be careful with shortcut combinations... eg. alt+f4 will close xgl. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-05-21 11:17 Message: Logged In: NO me too ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-04-06 11:29 Message: Logged In: NO well, here is my output, hope it helps a bit: Running tvtime 1.0.2.
