This is a feature wishlist for TV-Viewer 0.8.2
My thoughts so far:
- Radio support.
- Drag and drop for station editor. Possibility to group stations.
- Record wizard, add overview of all recorded files and possibility watch them again. (Mini-MythTV)
- Options for mouse and keyboard configuration.
- Context menu for systray icon.
- Keep aspect ratio when resizing player window.
- Remember size and position of gui and settings like stay on top.
- ,,,

We have to split this up a little bit. It is not good if I plan to much new features for one release. Then this release will also take one year to be finished. Here is new list of features which will be in 0.8.2, a separate list for 0.8.3 will also be started.

- Keep aspect ratio when resizing player window.
- Add more context menus and icons.
- Remember size and position of gui and settings like stay on top.
- Beautify the gui (QT or GTK support?)
This things will make it in 0.8.2, sorry if your wishes will not be fulfilled this time. Be sure to have have a look here, for the 0.8.3 wishlist.

What I do not understand is:
Why you developing a desktop application (systray, QT or GTK) with lirc support,
instead of a media center addon?
I personally integrated the actual version in xbmc controlled only with a ir-remote over lirc
and we are happy except of the missing recording functionality.

the problem is, if you want to use a media center you can use MYthTV or VDR and have no need for TV-Viewer. This application is for people who don't want to run a complete media center and just be able to watch and record tv. At least this is how I define it.
