I am just trying the howto. I found a laid stone in the howto. I was downloading the tclkit file and placed it in my existing installation instead of in the bzr_root.
Maybe you could give a hint on this in the howto?
Many Thanks!

And now after i managed to install with the tclkit enabled i get:
disk@wild-thing:/usr/local/share/tv-viewer> Runtime error. There is a missing dependency.
Please install the package tk >= 8.5
Error message:
couldn't load file "/tmp/tclu9RbXh": /tmp/tclu9RbXh: failed to map segment from shared object: Operation not permitted
Have a closer look to the user guide for the system requirements.
If you've installed more than one version of Tk, the symlink wish
might not point to the correct location.
/usr/bin/wish is pointing to:
wish8.5

If i would want to write a bugzilla entry on SuSE bugzilla it would be good to know the reason for this. Do you have a clue what the problem is? Maybe they could handle it.
Many thanks!

i need to update my opensuse installation first before I can make any assumptions. funny thing is, the tclkit was build under opensuse 11.4 and works everywhere else *sigh*

I have even checked with Active TCL to verify this once more. With active TCL it works.
After that i once more checked with TCLKIT, because when i wanted to install active TCL i found that my /tmp directory was mounted with wrong filesystem permissions. - It refused to install initially -
Now the TCL Kit version is working also correctly.
So i am sorry about that confusion and we could stick to the initial problem (Segfault)?
Many Thanks for you patience!

Output from diagnostics on SuSE 12.1 64 Bit;
Same for color management
When doing these steps on a from terminal started session the output is as follows:
disk@wild-thing:~> tv-viewer
This is TV-Viewer 0.8.2b1 Build 180 ...
Speicherzugriffsfehler
Does not (Silently crashes) -- excuse this, please. What could this be related to?
This is a bug in TCL/TK 8.5.10
Solution install a different version or use one of our tclkits
