I have installed the lastest OpenGL for the Voodoo but I think the probleme is because the Voodoo 2 is my second display card. I have a first card who display the 2D. I think I can't select the Voodoo 2 because the game is very very slow in 640x480 although Unreal Tournament is great in 800x600. > If someone know how select the glide or opengl for my Voodoo 2, will he answer me. <sigh> (Did you read my earlier email? We NEED TO KNOW which operating system...etc, etc you are using? **PLEASE**) If this is Mesa under Linux, you may find that you need to set MESA_GLX_FX=fullscreen export MESA_GLX_FX ...before you run tuxracer. Alternatively, you may have more than one copy of Mesa/OpenGL on your machine and Unreal is picking up one version and TuxRacer the other. It's also possible that TuxRacer is trying to open a larger window or at a different bit depth than the old Voodoo can handle - in which case OpenGL *may* be falling back to software emulation. That old Voodoo-2 is looking kinda *OLD* these days - it's probably about time you upgraded to something like an nVidia GeForce card. ----------------------------- Steve Baker ------------------------------- HomeMail : <sjb...@ai...> WorkMail: <sj...@li...> HomePage : http://web2.airmail.net/sjbaker1 Projects : http://plib.sf.net http://tuxaqfh.sf.net http://tuxkart.sf.net http://agtoys.sf.net http://prettypoly.sf.net http://freeglut.sf.net http://toobular.sf.net |
