Patrice, you are correct in that the sourceforge site is woefully 
under-maintained.

I have been extremely busy with commerical tripwire responsibilities. 
There is a chance that over the next year I could pass off ownership of 
the project to someone in the community, someone better able to keep 
development fresh.

It's interesting in that only in the last 6 months or so have people 
really started to get interested in the project. It's too bad it didn't 
take off sooner, I think things would be different now if it had.

Until then, Paul Herman's patch is definitely the way to go.
