Trouble in Libreland

2D real-time strategy game that will be written in C++ using Gorgon Game Engine. The project is initiated in order to compete in Liberated Pixel Cup. The game will take place in a town called Libreland which is being attacked by wildlings. The aim of the game is to protect the town from wildlings by training soldiers and artisans; upgrading them with the taxes paid by citizens.

Story

You vividly remember that day; it was an autumn night, the destruction that is surrounding you; you and the dark lord Erbil alone, all others dead, in the final battle in once peaceful Libreland. Characters

Wildlings

Wildlings are the villains in the game and will attack to Libreland. Each wildling type will spawn near their den.

Citizens

Citizens are the locals of Libreland and are the main assets of the game. Soldiers and artisans will be chosen among citizens by player (respected to their stats). Citizens will also supply required resource for upgrading soldiers, artisans by paying tax (gold).

Soldiers

Soldiers are the combatants who protect Libreland from wildlings. Players will be able to enhance the power of soldiers by equipping various items to soldiers such as daggers, bows and armors. Each soldier will have an inventory and will be upgraded automatically as they fight with wildlings. The more they fight, the more they become powerful and gain new titles (captain, veteran etc.)

Artisans

Artisans are the crafters of Libreland. Players will be able to craft items to soldiers with artisans. Just like soldiers, artisans will be chosen among citizens.
