Hey Liviu, If you have time to compile a new piece of software and if you use ALSA and if your sound card driver supports having an input device for input (intel-HDA seems to not support it), then I'd recommend GLC [1] [1] http://qubodup.wordpress.com/2010/06/02/record-an-opengl-game-in-linux-using-glc/ Alternatively I recommend FFMpeg [2], although this might require you to compile the latest version.
