Note that one of the first commands that Tramp sends to the remote host is "exec /bin/sh". This happens much earlier than finding a command for testing if a file exists. But this is Tramp, and so of course you can configure the "/bin/sh" part of the "exec /bin/sh" command in tramp-methods. kai --=20 Simplification good! Oversimplification bad! (Larry Wall) |
