Enter your bug report in this message, including as much detail as you possibly can about the problem, what you did to cause it and what the local and remote machines are. (I sent this message a few minutes ago, but with a wrong return address!) If you can give a simple set of instructions to make this bug happen reliably, please include those. Thank you for helping kill bugs in TRAMP. --bug report follows this line-- When I try to get a file on my local machine (Linux - RedHat 7.1) using sum method (su with mimencode) or even sm (ssh with mimencode) all works well. But, whe I try to get files on remote machines (We have a few AIX 4.2.1, 4.3 and a Sun 5.7) I'm unable to retrieve the files. Note File completion works correctly, i have problems only when trying to get the desired file. If it could help, I put here a Backtrace given by Emacs when I enable 'Debug on Errors' on the menu bar.
