The players coexist on the level, count their score in the normal way and both have to finish the level (the second player have to exist through the same exit as the first one). 2. "Cooperative". When the first player exists a level both players can continue. It can then be possible to design special "cooperative" levels where eg. one player has to go somewhere to open up for the second player to reach the goal etc. 3. "Race". Play the game without counting lives, the first player to exit each level wins. I guess the specifics for the game type can be decided later, we probably want to allow for different kind of games. Though I first have to actually code the multiplayer sync. I have been looking at using some preexisting libraries for network games but will probably prefer to code it myself to better fit it into the preexisting structure of the game. / Mathias |
