I don't understand: isn't "suggest" 2/3 of Toss already? I think it needs as much of Toss as the experiment (so if the experiment succeeds it can be "truncated" to this purpose). The js experiment _is_ based on WebClient: I adapt WebClient to work both ways, using either the CONN object or a LOCAL handler. But I don't have hopes that it will be any good. Right now as a viable solution I see what I described above: the standalone native application with some widget library that can mimic WebClient's interface (so using SVG etc.), and perhaps WebClient factorized so that some code for it is compiled by js_of_ocaml and shared with the native app. |
