Greetings, First, I'd like to thank all the contributors for a wonderful piece of software! Some of my fellow developers here have been using tortoiseCVS for a number of months here and find it very useful. However, we have had one issue that has been constant throughout each version we've tried, for all of us - that is, explorer responds very slow and sometimes doesn't respond at all. The problem is not constant, as sometimes everything works fine. I've been trying to narrow the cause down with little luck. We notice the problem more when we try to access non-local drives, either by UNC or mapped drives, but it will occationally happen on local drives as well. Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior? Current settings for version 1.3.5 ============================================================ On the Policy tab, only "Create new directories on update" is checked On the Advanced tab, "Always recalculate home directory is not checked, no network compression is used (tried other settings), I have one directory that I use with several version of our software checked out under it as my Included directory, and no other options are checked. No entries in .cvsignore. BM__MailAutoSigThanks in advance, Steve Syrett Unanet Technologies (703) 383-9330 ss...@un... |
