I think the reason RedHat isn't distributing them is becuase you will=20 also need an Oracle client installation which are only available from=20 Oracle technet and not freeware. I don't distribute the extra plugins=20 needed simply becuase I don't use RedHat. There shouldn't be any probly=20 distributing the extra plugins, but I won't do it (I have a little=20 grievence about how RedHat treats the KDE development community which=20 doesn't give me much reason to try it, plus off course I'm very happy=20 with my current Mandrake installation). /Mauritz Underscore AB Nacho Garcia wrote: >Hi there, > >first of all, I think you are doing a great job! > > >it could be possible to find oracle (9i) provider plugin for the version >shipped in redhat 9.0 ISO=B4s (1.3.9) >or source code to compile them? > > >if is not possible.. > > I would like to know the reason (maybe a licensing reason?) > >thanks a lot! > > >Nacho > > > > >------------------------------------------------------- >Enterprise Linux Forum Conference & Expo, June 4-6, 2003, Santa Clara >The only event dedicated to issues related to Linux enterprise solutions >www.enterpriselinuxforum.com > >_______________________________________________ >Tora-develop mailing list >Tor...@li... >https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tora-develop > =20 > |
