Ok, I've fixed so that this works a little more like expected. However if you have two worksheets open for the same connection you can never really be sure that two statements running after each other in a worksheet (At the same time as other queries are running in another worksheet to the same connection) run in the same connection to the database. TOra will open any number of connections needed to not block the interface and after that it will use the first one available when it needs one. As long as you only have one worksheet you're ok though. /Mauritz GlobeCom AB i....@in... wrote: >Dear Henrik, > > >Bug Report concerning execution of commands in Worksheet >------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > >Try the following in Worksheet > > update <...something...> ; > commit > >DON'T add a ";" after the commit-statement. >Do "execute all statements" (the two green triangles) >Worksheet will tell you "Statement executed", but does not really. > >If you control the update in another Worksheet-window, you will not see the >updated rows. > >After an explicit commit via "Commit connection", the rows will change. > >If you do "execute current statement" (the single green triangle) for the >update- and the commit-statement one by one the commit will work. > >I hope this behaviour is reproducible for I don't expect any database >version dependencies. > > >Regards > >Ingo > |
