Hi Lijun: If you have a pair of TIPC nodes, A and B, and node B is reconfigured to use a new node address, then TIPC should end up having 2 links on node A: one link using B's new address and the other using B's original address; the first link will be "up" and the second link will be "down". I have frequently uninstalled and reinstalled TIPC 1.5 using different node addresses, and have never encountered problems where communication is not successfully re-established as described above. I just re-tried it now using TIPC 1.5.09, but I have no reason to believe it shouldn't also work the same way with TIPC 1.5.05. Is this problem 100% reproducible for you? If not, you may be seeing another instance of the "name table inconsistency" problem you previously reported.
