Overall, the color highlighting and ability to change preferences is awesome. Anyway to set it so that everything in tex math mode gets highlighted? I.E. in the same way that the color preference for strings gets applied to everything between the quotation marks, could you have everything between the $ $s get highlighted?

At the moment you can choose the color (FG and BG) for Math Text Mode ($ ... $). To do this (and stay permanently in Sweave) set your options in the Highlighter Tex.
Likewise, additional options (inside the $ identifier $) must be defined in The Highlighter R.
