Hi folks, the problem with our migration seems to be that our page data are not in UTF-8. We have discovered the "Fix UTF-8 errors" feature in the "System Admin menu." After running the script on the field "data" of "tiki_pages" we do indeed get different glyphs for German Umlauts. The problem is, they're still wrong. Is anyone working with this feature and/or has tested it on German content? We are thinking, as a last resort, to pipe the MySQL dump through a Perl script that replaces German ISO Umlauts with their UTF-8 equivalent. Does anyone have a conversion table that matches the two-byte UTF-8 Umlauts to their one-byte equivalents?
