Yes, I see Article currently has all the Generic and Global fields, but Specifics for articles are limited to TopicID, Content, TopLine and SubHead. Useful additions for Specific article fields would be Author, Publish Date, Published (to filter unpublished articles from results), and probably Heading... I think Search Index covers the other items very well, since Blog, Forums, Wikis and Files are all well covered with Contributors, ModDate, Title, and Content. Articles is a special case, though, since Author (writer of the article) can be different from Contributors (which logs the Tiki users who post/edit the article) and Publish Date (date article was written or posted) can be different from ModDate (which logs the date/time of last edit in Tiki). I'd happily volunteer to add the fields, but I suspect it may be over my head programmatically. :) On Sun, Apr 15, 2012 at 3:16 PM, Marc Laporte <ma...@ma...> wrote: > Look at the "article" column on http://doc.tiki.org/Search+Index to > know what is currently indexed > > Not sure how to add some though... > > Best regards, > > M ;-) > > > On Sun, Apr 15, 2012 at 1:41 PM, Duane Kennedy <dke...@po...> > wrote: > > Hi Folks, > > > > Just wondering how exactly Search Index works and how fields are added. > I'm > > pretty ludite when it comes to digging into the PHP side of Tiki, so my > > exploration of some of the search related Lib files has left my > scratching > > my head... > > > > Specifically, I'm looking at the fields available for Source Type > > "Article".
