My point was that it would be easer to use names in tiki templates that uns= ing=20 id's. I did not make any statements whether Id's should be used in the HTML= =20 that is shown to the user/browser/robot. I.E. ther cpuld be a table that ma= ps=20 names to ID's and I gues that this translation would be possibel to do when= =20 Smarty parses the template with one of it's filtering modes (not sure now=20 wich). THis woudl ofcourse require an db-acces, but only when pages/modules= =20 are updated. I do not think that it is a very good idea for a user (user =3D=3D admin) t= o be=20 able to access one object whith two different id's (name or number), since = my=20 experience shows me that it is hard to keep those in sync and it will=20 eventually lead to mayhem. =2D Best regards, Jan On Wednesday 25 February 2004 01:48, James H.
