Hi, I've just put tgif-4.1.38 on the usual ftp sites. Attached below is the announcement of tgif-4.1.38 which I would post to comp.windows.x (but I most likely won't). Please let me know if you see bugs. Thanks! -- Bill Cheng // bil...@ac... <URL:http://bourbon.cs.umd.edu:8001/william/> ---------------------------------- cut here ---------------------------------- I've just put tgif-4.1-patch38 (38th patch for tgif-4.1) in the following places for anonymous ftp: ftp://bourbon.cs.umd.edu/pub/tgif/patches/tgif-4.1-patch38.gz (primary) ftp://ftp.cs.ucla.edu/pub/tgif/patches/tgif-4.1-patch38.gz (12,617 bytes - running 'sum tgif-4.1-patch38.gz' should get: 28971 13) Tgif source code is also available for anonymous ftp from the following places: ftp://bourbon.cs.umd.edu/pub/tgif/tgif-4.1.38.tar.gz (primary) ftp://ftp.cs.ucla.edu/pub/tgif/tgif-4.1.38.tar.gz ftp://download.sourceforge.net/tgif/tgif-4.1.38.tar.gz (1,433,512 bytes - running 'sum tgif-4.1.38.tar.gz' should get: 00761 1400) Here's a list of added features/bug fixes. 1) Fix a bug in Print Selected Objects that imported EPS objects are not exporte. Thanks to Ralphe Neill <ra...@ob...> for pointing out the problem. 2) For a tgif file in landscape mode, generate the correct (rotated) PDF file. Thanks to Johan Vromans <JVr...@sq...> and Goeran Hanke <ha...@me...> for the solutions. 3) Update ja.po. Thanks to Jun Nishii <ju...@vi...> for the patch. 4) Add a README file in the spice subdirectory to include some notes on the ports and components feature of tgif. 5) Add a compiler option -D_PRTGIF_USE_ISO_LATIN_1_ALWAYS to always use ISO 8859-1 character set for single-byte characters when running tgif with the -print commandline option. Please only use this if you are sure that you will *never* use other encoding. You can selectively turn off reencoding by using either the Tgif.DontReencode X default or the -dontreencode commandline option. Thanks to Ambrose Li <ac...@mi...> for the patch.
