GK, =20 I am really trying to get a flavor of Teem.=20 It echos a lot of stuff what we have written out for our day today work = and actually some stuff which I thought we should implement. = Interestingly you folks already have it up here, all I have to do is = figure out how to use it. (My good wishes for making this available to = the community) =20 I'll like to see a quick user guide like this (scroll down) http://visservices.sdsc.edu/software/vista/quickstart.php =20 Of course I am baised because I wrote this one. Basic idea is to have a = corresponding visual result for every important option. =20 Sure I'll like to contribute towards docs provided I am able to move = forward with whatever is available now. =20 Glad to know you killed few more bugs with AIX warnings. Apparently AIX = has a pretty strict compiler and it has made us fix quite a few bugs in = out software. =20 And I'll try out 64 bit compile on AIX. =20 --Amit =20 PS: any one going to Supercomputing 05 in Seattle =20 ________________________________ From: Gordon Kindlmann [mailto:gk...@cs...] Sent: Thu 11/10/2005 11:46 PM To: Teem Users Cc: Amit Chourasia Subject: Re: [Teem-users] gkms hvol segfaulting hi, > I'll check out mite Do tell me if you, by any chance, write any documentation in the=20 process! :) And I meant to mention this: > > AIX compile warnings: > > ar: Creating an archive file ../aix/obj/libair.a. > > ar: Creating an archive file ../aix/obj/libhest.a. > > ar: Creating an archive file ../aix/obj/libbiff.a. > > "nrrd/gzio.c", line 670.23: 1506-356 (W) Compilation unit is empty. > > "nrrd/kernel.c", line 1220.30: 1506-1298 (W) The subscript 3 is=20 > out of > > range. Wow, there were indeed two bugs here! Thanks! Why the heck didn't=20 any other compilers complain about this? Just goes to show how a big variety of compilers helps in finding=20 bugs... Gordon |
