The problem is that I don't have Kylix to test with :-(. There is of course the open edition, but it doesn't have the necessary database components. Any patches you might have to get it working on kylix/linux are welcome. You can also send me a list of errors when trying to compile the windows version in linux. Regards, Micha. |

Hello I see that you have released a new version of tdbf for windows, so I was wondering if you ar going to realease a new version for linux. I use kylix c++ ide, and I cant use the old version 5.1, because it is only for c++builder and delphi and kylix delphi. In addition I see that in the new version 6.3 for windows now exists support for memo fields ftp type and I need to access to that kind of fields type. You can give me any hope that the new version for linux will be release. Thanks in advance, Vilma Bobadilla Imp.El Rosado 593 4 2322555 -- Este mensaje ha sido analizado por El Rosado en busca de virus y otros contenidos peligrosos, y se considera que está limpio. |

Hi Guys, I have some trouble adding default values to newly created records. Has this been changed since 6.2.3 because I don't recall having trouble earlier. I have the following in the OnNewRecord Event: With Dbf1 do begin FieldByName('ID').AsInteger := 1; FieldByName('QUESTION').AsString := 'question 1'; FieldByName('ANSWER').AsString := 'answer 1'; post end; This while calling Append in the procedure that calls for a new record. It creates new records, but they remain empty.. Alfred Vink http://www.alfsoft.com |
