There is too much cleverness by far going on in there. If the final goal is to simplify Tcl initialization, this is a big step in the wrong direction. Anyway, I'd like to change my vote: TIP#414: NO. (And again: the initial version of TIP#414, http://www.tcl.tk/cgi-bin/tct/tip/view/414?ver=1.1 was perfectly fine by me; I'd unhesitatingly vote YES to that version.
