Have you tried following the "reflected channel" link on the idea page to 
http://wiki.tcl.tk/17594, and following the furter links found there?

Chances, yes, but I suspect it could be a negative factor for the grading 
of a proposal (how probable is it that this person can pull it off?). Do 
you have other qualifications which would make you well suited for 
implementing MapReduce? (For example, previous experience of it?)
