Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Andreas Kupries (andreas_kupries) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Nit in Lesson 12, one possibility not explained Initial Comment: -------- Original Message -------- Subject: [Tcl] Minor fix in documentation page - Tcl12.html Date: Mon, 2 Nov 2009 16:03:39 +0100 From: Alfonso García <al...@gm...> To: web...@tc... Hello, reading the Tcl documentation I've found an incomplete explanation in the following page: http://www.tcl.tk/man/tcl/tutorial/Tcl12.html In the paragraph: "Since there are default arguments for the |b| and |c| variables, you could call the procedure one of three ways: |justdoit 10|, which would set |a| to 10, and leave |b| set to its default 1, and |c| at -1. |justdoit 10 20| would likewise set |b| to 20, and leave C to its default." The third option is not explained, even if is obvious. (Calling with 3 parameters avoiding default values.) This is a very minor improvement to do in order to reach the perfection in this wonderful documentation. Thanks in advance, Alfonso. ----- I have added Or call it with all three parameters set to avoid any defaults. in our local html copy of lesson 12. This bug serves as reminder to update the original .lsn too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=110894&aid=2911059&group_id=10894 |
