Category: 37. Init - Library - Autoload Group: development: 8.5a6 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 7 Private: No Submitted By: Jeffrey Hobbs (hobbs) Assigned to: Don Porter (dgp) Summary: errorInfo no longer exists in 8.5 interp init Initial Comment: Create a slave interp and you find that 'errorInfo' is no longer there by default: interp create a a eval info exists errorInfo This is a regression from previous versions of Tcl. The docs don't stipulate that it will exist, but it always has before. I think defaulting it to "" may be worthwhile. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Don Porter (dgp) Date: 2007-04-03 09:10 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=80530 Originator: NO In 8.5, the typical case is for a value of ::errorInfo to get set via a read trace -- an "on demand" availability of the value. However... % [interp create] eval set errorInfo can't read "errorInfo": no such variable So clearly something's not right in the current HEAD. Thanks for the report; will check into it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=110894&aid=1693252&group_id=10894 |
